Geocaching’s Adventure Day runs from 25 to 29 November. To earn its 2026 digital souvenir, participants need to complete five Adventure Lab locations during those dates. They can come from different adventures, so a familiar neighbourhood, a park and a nearby town can all become parts of the same day out.
That is a modest rule with a surprisingly large effect. Give someone five reasons to stop and the route between them starts to feel different. A sign you have passed a hundred times becomes a clue. A side street becomes a choice. For Afterworld Adventures, that is the appeal of a story built into a real place: the landscape gets a vote.
The event runs through the Adventure Lab app. Check each location’s access and opening hours before setting out; the best adventure is one that leaves the place ready for the next visitor.
